Ignite! competition seeks best & brightest from Midlands entrepreneurs
"In Cayce, a rusty-looking water tank in the city’s industrial zone is en route to becoming a giant tribute to golf, USC and South Carolina. The finished work of the Cayce water tower also will be a triumph of Will Bryan’s conviction that art should have a place in the public domain."

“This is exactly the kind of community-minded entrepreneurship that we at Wells Fargo Bank are proud to support in the Midlands. Now in its third year, the Ignite! Ideas Contest is proving to be true to a key, shared goal at EngenuitySC and Wells Fargo: to help local business innovators take strides to make the Midlands an even better place to live, work and play.”
“The target of the first mural campaign? An eye sore of a water tower located next to the Gamecocks new golf facility in Cayce. The plans for the mural are to display an attractive mural of a Gamecock golf player silhouette along with signage for the location. The mural can be viewed all around the area along with flights coming into the Columbia Metropolitan Airport.”

“Our mission at Public Works of HeART is to use the beauty of public art to improve lives and to contribute to the growing creative economy here in the Midlands,” says founder Will Bryan. “The Ignite! prize money will help us move closer to our goal of installing our first crowdfunded mural in downtown Columbia, SC.”
